Hello Everyone

I just wanted to express my thanks to each and every one of you for a great job done this weekend.
Please also extend those thanks to all the spouses that came out to help. It is really appreciated.

I know how hard everyone worked to make it a great event and you succeeded. Everything went
off without a hitch! Even the weather co-operated for the most part. Of the five years I've been involved with the
Optimists it's the first time I remember us having 2 fairly decent days in a row. There were lots of positive comments
from the public and one in particular was "I've never seen a bunch of people work so hard and laugh so much"
and it's true we do have a good time when we're together. I just hope there aren't too many aches and pains out there!

A big thank you to the committee for all their help in organizing the event, and a BIG BIG thank you to Everett for taking
on the task of chairing the event yet again, and Betty Ann for allowing him too.
