Christmas in the Park

Here are a few images from the Grand Opening Ceremonies on December 1st, 2000

Optimist Roger Wing did an excellent job entertaining the crowd as Emcee and M.P. Murray Codwell (Calder!!!)
lead a huge crowd in a "countdown"

and then all of the lights came on at once!!!

Politicians were everywhere!!!

and the (Elliotson) band played on!!!  (Despite the COLD!!!)

The Optimist Club presents this event each year in December at Kay Cee Gardens in Orangeville, Ontario.
