As an Optimist Member, you will be welcomed into a Club of individuals who share a desire to "Bring Out the Best in Kids." We organize and participate in hands-on, interactive projects for our young people.
Fellowship and Camaraderie
Join our club and enjoy friendship and a meal at our Bi-Weekly meetings and social gatherings. We have a fun group of Optimists who enjoy spending time with each other. Contact us and come out for an introductory meeting to see what we're all about. *suspended during Covid Lockdown.
Community Projects
Come out and be a part of a team helping to create the magical world of Christmas in The Park. Take part in organizing the annual Bike Roadeo, Junior World of Golf, Youth Empowerment Day, COLS - Central Ontario Leadership Seminars, and much more.

To work as a Volunteer we require a Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Check - Police Check forms are available in hardcopy at 390 C Line, Orangeville, ON L9W 3Z8. Business hours are now 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. There is also an online form below.
There are no fees for a volunteer position. If the volunteer position is working with the vulnerable population then a letter is required in order to process the record check. The letter has be on a letterhead from the organization, dated, has to state the persons name and why they require a vulnerable sector check and a signature on the bottom.
