Optimist Melody Greenley came up with the idea of a lighted archway some years ago for the Christmas in The Park event... and the Cubs Scouts donated a pvc pipe canopy structure that we decorated with as many lights as it could... it eventually bit the dust. So Optimist Dennis Cox and his crew of handy Optimists decided it was time for a more permanent structure! With a ton of hard work and a few burgers they created this amazing Pergola over the pathway in Kay Cee Gardens. It will be adorned with lights and become Melody's Archwary (name to be confirmed).
