It is with the generous financial support from Sponsors of Christmas in The Park, our only fundraiser, that we are able to support and participate in programs that enrich the lives of youth in our community, such as: Big Brothers Big Sisters, Westminster Milk program, DCAFF, Scouts and Guides, Orangeville Minor Sports, ODSS and Westside Bursaries, Bike Roadeo, Junior Golf, One Voice One Team, Canadian Children's Optimist Foundation, Youth Empowerment Day, Oratorical and Essay Contests, and COLS (Central Ontario Leadership Seminars. As well as donations to Family Transition Place, Headwaters Hospital, Food Bank etc.
The Optimist Club of Orangeville has been bringing you Christmas in The Park for more than 30 years! It started with a number of seniors stringing a few lights on a few trees at the park across the street from the Seniors Centre on Bythia. It has since grown to include fantastic illuminated characters, millions of dazzling lights, music, entertainers of all sorts, hot drinks served by local scouts and churches, and many delightful community displays! A free month-long event that draws over 24,000 visitors a year. With the help of volunteers and funding by generous sponsors, Christmas in The Park at Kay Cee Gardens is a holiday tradition for our community and beyond.
As always our park is free and open to the public from 5:30 to 10:00 every evening in December, except when weather prevents it. Follow us on our social media to stay updated. Our Donation Box is set up in front of the Pergola at Kay Cee Gardens, and cash donations are very welcome!!

Drone video created by Gabriel Lonuzzo, 2020
In 2020 we had a drone video created by Gabriel Lonuzzo for a glimpse of Christmas in the Park from above. Turn up audio and enjoy the music and a little virtual walk.
In 2019 we created this little video for a behind the scenes look at what we do to create Christmas in The Park at Kay Cee Gardens.
