During Christmas in The Park
The Optimist Club is pleased to host the 32nd Annual Christmas in the Park during December. 2024. We are excited and look forward to organizing and decorating the park. If you are interested in putting in a display this year or sponsoring a tree lighting, please email Melody Greenley for registration form and return a copy to us as soon as possible so we can ensure there is space for everyone.
The Displayers Schedule
The 2024 schedule will be as follows:

Set up is to occur on the weekend of November 23rd and 24th, between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m.
If this time frame is not suitable, we are in the park the weekend of November 16th
& 17th, between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m., to set up club displays. Access to the park is limited
to these dates/times. If you require additional time please let us know as there may be
members working in the park during the week. -
It is imperative you use outdoor lights, extension chords, any electrical units.

Small displays should consider using a platform as a base.

All final touches must be completed by November 30th

Opening night is December 1st - Lights come on shortly after 7 p.m.

The last night the park will be open is December 31, 2024.

Take down will occur on the weekend of January 4th and 5th, 2025
If you have specific needs for your display, please reach out to us to discuss them well in advance
of the set-up weekend.
