Teddy Bear Clinic

🧸The Optimist Club of Orangeville sponsored this year's Teddy Bear Clinic at the Headwaters Health Care Centre on Sept. 19, 2026. Optimists Alan, Colleen, Matt, Natasha and President Klaus helped out at this phenomenal day for children who brought their stuffed toys to the clinic to experience a little of how a hospital visit might go. Between 250-300 youngsters had their stuffies checked out by Nurses and Doctors. Wounds were stitched and bandaged, broken paws and fins were put in splints and medication given for various remedies. All to help alleviate the anxiety a trip to the hospital which is not such a scary place. It was a most exciting day for these kids. @headwatershealthcarecentre
